China Air Freight uses the "Half" volumetric weight calculation. (Picture Guide on Volumetric)

• General calculation for volumetric weight = Length x Width x Height / 6000, the number obtained is known as the "volumetric weight ", and then compared with "actual weight" to ascertain which is greater, the higher weight is used to calculate the shipping fee.
• China Air Freight calculates (volumetric weight + actual weight)/2, the number obtained is known as the "half volumetric" shipping fee. This calculation method will be cheaper than volumetric weight.

Note: Less than 0.5kg would be calculated based on 0.5kg. (eg.: 8.01kg = 8.50kg)

• For each parcel if it is overweight, "overweight fee" will be charged MYR 100 (per parcel)

• For each parcel if one side is overlength + MYR 120; if two sides are overlength + MYR 170; if three sides are overlength + MYR 200 (per parcel)

• For local delivery, we do not carry items upstairs. The customer will have to negotiate with the driver if the delivery driver is required to send it upstairs or move it into the warehouse. If your parcel is overweight or bulky, you must prepare your own forklift and workers to unload it. The driver will only assist in unloading it.

If the parcel is too big or heavy, it will be split into multi cartons. The shipping fee will be calculated separately.

• In general, in order to reduce the probability of the parcel being taxed, BuyMall will be declare to the customs "less than USD 100". If a customer buys valuable items (worth more than MYR 500), BuyMall recommends the customer to choose the tax included channel.
  "Tax included fee" charges MYR 4 / kg (by half volumetric calculation)

If a customer buys valuable items (worth more than MYR 500), BuyMall recommends the customer to buy insurance. Once the parcel is lost, BuyMall will pay full compensation according to the quotation, otherwise all are compensated according to the terms of claim for parcel.
"Insurance fee" is the total price of items x 2% to 4% (depends on items value & category)

Note 1: To buy insurance, please send the product information + pictures to customer service. We will send it to the airlines for review; Once the airline accepts the insurance, we will deduct the amount from the customer's account.

Note 2: BuyMall will not give any compensation if receiver has been blacklisted by custom.

• Pickup fee of MYR 5 is chargeable for pickup points in Klang Valley, MYR 10 for areas outside of Klang Valley that have a chargeable weight 5kg and below, MYR 15 if above, and FREE for BuyMall Warehouse.
• Total parcel cannot exceed 15kg or 0.1 m³ (No limit if you pick up the items at BuyMall warehouse)

• The smallest volume for each item is 0.003 m³
• Each cubic meter cannot exceed 400 kg, and each 400 kg is calculated by one cubic meter

About 15-22 working days, those remote areas or lorry delivery require another 6-8 working days. (You get Hour+ compensation if the items are not received within 18 days)
